Key in a New Word

This option allows you to enter a new word using the

Quicktionary keys.

Select Key In a New Word from the Dictionary

submenu.

Enter a letter by using the or keys.

Move to the right using the key and enter the

following letters.

Press to translate the word.

To enter a word including letters with accents, enter the

letters without accents. For example, to enter the word

‘chargé’ (from ‘chargé d’affaires’) , enter ‘charge’ and

press

. When the same word with and without the

accents corresponds to separate dictionary entries, a list

appears containing these entries. For example, when you

enter ‘charge’, a list appears containing ‘charge’ and

‘chargé’. To access the translations, select ‘chargé’ and

press
